Starting pay is $17/hr possibly higher DOE.
Whitman College has an opening for a Landscape Specialist. The landscape team maintains a park-like campus with a roughly 1500-tree canopy, and various athletic playing fields. The team practices sustainable water, turf, and grounds management practices, and has received recognition multiple years as a Tree Campus USA from the Arbor Day Foundation. This position will work in all areas of the grounds team, but we’re looking for experience working with irrigation and water systems, which compliments other specialized skills on the team.
